VINYL CARE & WARRANTY GUIDELINES

Designed for superior durability and exceptional performance, your windows are built to withstand the elements while providing a clear, polished look for years. To maintain this high standard and enjoy worry-free use, it’s essential to follow proper care practices. With simple maintenance and the right cleaning routine, your vinyl windows will stay pristine, resist UV damage, and preserve their flexibility and clarity, guaranteeing long-lasting protection and comfort for your home.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bucket
- Hose
- Spray bottle (optional)
- Microfiber cloth and cotton cloth
- Mild cleaning solution
- Vacuum cleaner
Pro Tip: We recommend using Sunspace Vinyl Cleaner for the best results. Mild soap and water are also acceptable alternatives.
Avoid any products with abrasives, ammonia, or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the vinyl surface.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Remove the Panels
Start by removing each window panel for easy access. Begin with the bottom vent. Adjust the panel up or down to disengage the interlock from the adjacent panel. Hold the top of the panel with your right hand. Using both hands, slide the panel to the left, then swing it outward from the frame.

Continue with Other Panels
Repeat the process for each panel, moving upward one by one. Always adjust to release the interlock before sliding and swinging the panel outward.

Handle with Care
Keep a firm grip when removing panels to prevent damage. Place them gently on a soft, flat surface to avoid scratches.

Clean the Panels
Use a soft microfiber cloth with a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Wipe gently to remove dirt and debris, then rinse with clean water.

Reinstall the Panels
Once panels are clean and dry, reinstall them in reverse order. Align the bottom vent first, then slide and interlock securely.
Tip: For best results, clean your windows on a warm, dry day. If it’s too hot, the panels might dry too quickly and leave streaks. If you have any questions, just give us a call. We’re happy to help.
